Will Reynolds, Executive Partner

Will joined New Profit in January 2007. His primary focus at New Profit is to serve as portfolio manager for Right To Play where he serves on the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Program Committee of the Board.

Prior to joining New Profit, in 2006 Will served for seven months as interim Chief Operating Officer at Right To Play where he helped define the COO role, lead major reorganization, decentralization and business planning initiatives, and facilitated the recruitment of a permanent Chief Operating Officer.

Will began his business career with six years at Arthur Andersen & Co. where he first served on the audit staff and earned his CPA. He then became a Manager in the firm’s systems consulting practice. For the next 20 years Will worked in leadership positions in systems, finance and general management at small, entrepreneur lead, early stage and rapidly growing high technology businesses in the Boston area including Applicon, MicroTouch, Graphic Communications, Lotus Development Corporation, and finally iMarket Inc. where he served initially as CFO and ultimately CEO. After leading the sale of iMarket to Dun & Bradstreet in 2000, Will provided senior leadership within D&B of two semi independent business units with over 400 employees and annual revenues in excess of $60 million. In 2005 Will left D&B to investigate a second career in the not for profit sector.

Between college and business school, Will was employed as Project Manager for a Community Action Program in Concord, NH. While raising two daughters and working in high tech businesses, Will volunteered time over many years to organize, run and coach youth sport programs in soccer, swimming and lacrosse. From 1994 to 2000, Will served as a Trustee of Phillips Exeter Academy a private boarding school located in Exeter, NH. He was the President of the Exeter General Alumni/ae Association and chaired the school’s Technology Task Force, which planned and implemented the first campus-wide network.

Will is a graduate of Princeton University where majored in Sociology and economics and played on the varsity lacrosse team. He received his MBA in Finance from Harvard Business School.
